SAN FRANCISCO, CA - January 7, 2013 - Today at CES, Moshi (http://www.moshimonde.com), creator of premium electronics and accessories for Apple products and other popular devices, announced its plans to enter the portable battery solutions market in the second half of 2013. Moshi will apply its signature modern, minimalist aesthetic and inventive design sense to the new line, which will initially include both 5000 and 10000 mAh capacity battery products.

As smartphones and tablets become increasingly powerful, the demand for portable charging solutions is similarly growing. Consumers today want a convenient power source they can rely on when their handheld runs out of battery, and ideally one designed specifically for the smartphone or tablet they're using.

Moshi's new portable battery offerings are created to provide ample spare power to iPhone, iPad and other mobile device users when electrical outlets are not readily accessible. These products will add to Moshi's line of power solutions, which currently includes car chargers, power adapters and a unique Firewire-to-USB combo hub.
